Marleen DT - Backdrops Borders

HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone..

I hope you all have a great evening/night but PLEASE STAY SAFE..
Me and my family are partying at home with a big group of loved ones but I still wanted to make a quick post to share my project for this week for

as well as an old favorite "Glad I did it"

I made this card using the stamps, black embossing powder, mica powder, distress inks, a paper ribbon and flat back pearls.
I wanted to make something that was still festive but no longer christmas, hence the choice of colours. The whole card is smothered in mica powder to give it a real shine..

Anyway its PARTY TIME... Have a great and SAFE new year everyone and I will see you all soon again.
Thank you for popping by and for any comments left behind.

Never the less, I still want to share a christmas card Ive made for

You can find them in the SHOP with all the other amazing stamps
Here is what Ive made:

A card made with the stamps, red embossing powder, a star stencil and LOADS of distress inks..
The colours are a bit unusual for a christmas card, but I love yellow and red together and I think it really makes the card stand out.

Merry christmas everyone!

Hi blog land here I am with my rather Christmassy Bee Crafty blog. I didn't post anything last week as I had a rather crazy brainstorm to decorate my daughters bedroom. She is now settled into her new room for christmas, I have finished work and can now relax a little before the big day.

I have posted 2 cards this week to make up for not posting last week. Bee Crafty have a fantastic range of Yuletide stamps so why not take this opportunity to get ready for next years celebrations. There is 20% off Bee Crafty Stamps until Monday 22nd December so why not take the opportunity to set yourself up for some new year projects.

To make this card I have used:

Yuletide fir tree stamp

Yuletide snowflakes

Yueltide seasons greetings

Backdrop borders grasses

Embossing powder

Salty ocean distress ink

For this card I used:

Yuletide holly swirl stamp

Seasons greetings stamp

Can I take this opportunity to wish you all a very merry christmas! I hope you've all been good and Santa brings you lots of crafty goodies. I'll be back in the new year with some more Bee Crafty inspiration.

Marleen DT, Yuletide

Hello crafty friends..

Time for another post for

Ive been playing with my christmas stamps again for this little card. The one Ive used for today is called "Holly Swirl Tree"
A beautiful and classic stamp. You can find it in the STORE with all the other amazing stamps.

Here is what Ive made for this week:

For this card Ive had a play with my mica powders together with my stamp.
I stamped my tree using versamark and then covered it with mica powders. The colour I chose is a funny one. When the light hits the mica it shines in different colours. This was what inspired me to do the rest of the card.
The rest of the card is a simple matting and layering only using black and white card stock, finished off with LOADS of flat back pearls matching the colours of the mica.

And that is all from me for today.
Thank you for popping by and for any comments left behind.

A bottle of Seasons Greetings

Hi Guys,

Sorry I am a little late today I have no idea where the time has gone today.

So today I thought I would share with you a bottle tag that I created using the Yuletide Collection, and my sparkly embossing powder.

The stamps that I used today are Holly Swirl Tree and Seasons Greetings

So I stated off with a red card stock and cut it down to 21.cm by 11. cm.
I scored the top section 5cm, and punched a hole in it that was big enough to get the bottle neck through.

Next I stamped my image with a clear ink pad, and used "Gold Tinsel" embossing powder, I stamped this on 300gsm stamping card, I cut this down to 9.5 x 9 cm and matted onto a thin red border, which was then matted onto a white card stock that gave a thicker border.

I repeated the same with the "Seasons Greetings" stamp and matted in the same manner. by top layer is 9.5 cm by 4.5 cm, and again I heat embossed this with the gold tinsel embossing powder.

To finish the card off I added four pieces of card candi one to each corner and rounded the bottom corners with a corner rounder.

I hope you like it and I will see you next Monday.

Oh Christmas Tree!

It's Clare here once again for Bee Crafty and I have another christmas themed card for you. I thought that I would try something on craft card this week.

For this card I used:

Yueltide christmas tree stamp

Yueltide seasons greetings stamp

Inkables off set dots mask

Dylusions White linen ink

Distress ink

Liquid pearls

Embossing powder

I started off with my craft card and the Inkables template and dabbed through some white linen dylusions ink with a sponge. After that I stamped the tree and sentiment with watermark ink and heat set with a pearly embossing powder. With festive Berries distress ink I brushed around the edge of the card. After matting and layering I added my favourite little liquid pearls to the tree in red and green to the tree and some random opal white to the outer edge. Finally I added some gems from my stash for a bit of bling.

Thank you for having a look at my post today.

Crafty christmas hugs,

Christmas Again

Good Morning Everyone,

Kelly again today and again I have for you another Christmas card, I thought that I would keep with the Christmas theme, considering we have now entered December.

So I started with a green six by six card blank that I matted with a white layer, then a green layer and the top layer is a white layer that I decorated up, I used the "Holly Swirly Tree" stamp and the "Seasons Greetings" Stamp.

I used the Holly Swirl Tree and just randomly inked sections up using a clear embossing pad, and embossed using a silver detail embossing powder, I repeated this around the square.

I then stamped the "Seasons Greetings" stamp and embossed using a gold tinsel embossing powder. I added some liquid pearls to the card to finish it off and left it pretty much as that as I wanted the sentiment to be the focus of the card.

I hope you like it and I will see you next week with some more inspiration.
