DT Kerrie - Planning with Bee Crafty Stamps

Hiya and Welcome to my Monday Post for Bee Crafty Stamps

This week I have been getting ahead with my 'Filofax - Planning' and I have decorated this week's pages and my May monthly spread using some of my favourite Bee Crafty polymer stamps

Bee Crafty Products used:

BEAUtanicals - Branches - polymer stamp set
BEAUtanicals - Tall Elder - polymer stamp
WORDage - Dream - polymer stamp

I really love to use my non-planner crafty stash in my planners as it helps me to expand on what I have brought for my planning, but also as I love to use my planner for memory keeping as well as planning my day to day stuff

I chose colours of stamping ink to complement the mushroom coloured leather of my current planner (I have a big colletion to choose from each month)

I decided to use the same stamps for my weekly layouts in May as I used for my Monthly spread.

I stamped using versamagic chalky ink's in the following colours

Wheat: for the script stamp
Sage: for the larger branch stamp from the set
Sahara Sand: for the Tall Elder stamp (I just used the top part)
Jumbo Java: for all the Wordage stamps

I stamped them around the edges and over the notes section to leave the main pages blank for filling in the details of my week

I used the same stamps and colours for the my Monthly spread

I really like how the colours work with my chosen planner for May

Im late, Im late for a very important date...

Hey bloggers..

Totally messed up today.. I was supposed to have my blog post this morning, only to forget all about it. Never even crossed my mind..
But before I pop to bed I still want to post my weekly post for

This week Ive pulled out my feathers again and did a tecnique I saw on youtube.
Its a simple masking tecnique, done loads of times but I had never seen it done with a sentiment so decided to have a try.

Both of these cards has been made by first stamping the feather and ink well on to my card stock in black ink. I then stamped a second feather and second ink well on a piece of scrap card and cut them out.
I overlayed both on my card (I used a tiny piece of double sided tape to hold them in place). I then took my mini memento pads and lined up the colours till I got like a rainbow effect of colours. I stamped the middle colour of the "Time Flies" stamp first and then spread out from there to get it even looking.
Once I had all the greetings stamped I removed the masks and voila..

On the top card I did as described above but after I was done I decided to jazz it up a bit. I added the green strips of glitter card and decided to cut a new feather and ink well to add on foam to raise them.

And that is it from me for today. Appologies to those who follow my blog and the BeeCrafty blog for the late post.
Many thanks for popping by and for any comments left behind.

DT Kerrie - Christmas in August

Hiya and Welcome to my Monday Post for Bee Crafty

Now that my Children's Birthday's are done its my tradition to begin my prep for Christmas which includes beginning my shopping plans for their gifts but also the start of my Christmas Cards so today I am sharing one of these new makes for the Festive Season...

I have used some of the Bee Crafty Stamps from the 'Yuletide' Collection

I created a background using the 'Yuletide' - Snowflakes' set along with light and dark blue chalk inks for some of the flakes and then clear embossing ink with a mixture of blue, silver pearl and tinsel white embossing powders which I then heated using a heat toolto create some texture, shine and sparkle.

I then stamped the 'Yuletide' - Believe' large sentiment using blue chalky ink which I sprinkled a little of the tinsel white embossing powder over. I trimmed the seniment, inked the edges by running a clear embossing ink pad accross them, I then dipped into tinsel while embossing powder to add sparkle. I matted the sentiment onto blue cardstock.

To finish my card I matted the background I created onto the same blue cardstock as the sentiment and attached this to a 7x7 card blank. I fixed the Sentiment to the card front using foam tape at a jaunty angle.

Next I repeat stamped the Snowflakes onto offcuts of cardstock in the same inks as before adding ebossing powders including some clear this time for the darker blue. I fussy cut them, used an embossing tool on the reverse of them to create dimention. I then arranged them at the corners of the sentiment layering them up a bit and adding gems to the centres. I added some extra gems to opposite corners of the card to finish
