Yuletide

Good morning ladies

Just had to do this stamp
loved ever since Bev did it

I use the Music background stamp and matted that onto red card
which was matted onto a 6x6 card
Then add another background stamp (in store soon)
and matted them onto red card and put them at an angle
Stamped Father Christmas
Highlighted him with a light blue pro-marker
them added him to a red die cut and added him to card
stamped the sentiment on white card matted on red card
and added to the card
and a flower in the corner was a die cut

I used these Stamps

all these stamps will be found at
so why not pop over and have a peek
Happy crafting

Never Regret

Good Morning Everyone,

Kelly here today and it is my first official post as part of the new Design Team.

How fast did that weekend go.

Today's card is made using one of Bev's fantastic Wordage Stamps!

I adore this saying and I think it could be used on cards, gift tags, calendars and scrapbook layouts - More of them to come soon :)

A nice close up of the stamp for you

The completed card

I started with a standard 6x6 card blank.  I matted and layered my card blank with a pink and white mat, the white mat was embossed with a butterfly embossing folder.

I used nesting dies for the sentiment, and matted this with pink and white, I completed the card with flowers finished with gems, card candi, and white fake stitching around the pink layer.

The items I used
Embossing Folder
Card Candi

Thank you for popping in today and reading my post, I hope you have enjoyed it. Don't forget to pop back tomorrow when Sue will be back with another project that she is excited to share with you.

A little inky ............I think

A good Sunday morning to you all in blog land.  I hope that the weather is being kind to you all wherever you may be.  I was not amused yesterday as my car is on its holidays at the garage as it failed its mot :-( this means that I have walked EVERYWHERE this weekend.........in the bloody rain, humph! Still I don't need to go out today so if it's not so nice it will be a rainy craft day hurrah :-). Here is my Bee Crafty blog for this week.

For this card I have used:

Distress inks  pine needles, mustard seed, seedless preserves

I started off using some of my spray inks that have mica powders in. After they had dried I stamped on the poppy heads twice in black and then stamped the largest of the branches stamp five times coming at different angles. I stamped the wordage stamp 'Joy is a flower' and heat embossed with black wow powders.  I then added more colour from my distress inks using pine needles and mustard seed in the middle, using my blending tool I edged the card with seedless preserve.  I added black dots around the branches with liquid pearls and applied glossy accents to the poppy heads.

I hope you have enjoyed reading my blog entry today and the sunshine has made an appearance wherever you may be.

December...

...2015, isn't that what everyones planning?

How are you all?

ok ok so I jest a little but have you seen these calendars?

From Stix 2 and an absolute steal at just £3.95.

So naturally I started with December, I can't think of another way of making sure the whole thing is finished in time.  So I went with a blue/white and silver sparkly type effect.....what do you think?

I used the Large Wordage stamp 'Family Masterpiece' and stamped it in one of my shades of blue from the Distress Ink range

And the Sleigh from the Yuletide Range which I stamped twice, once white and once on some patterned paper, cut the centre out of the patterned paper one and adhered it to the white one.

I am really pleased with how this has turned out. As is standard for me I have inked the edges using my cut n dry foam on the heat resist sheet as this is how I think the results come out best.

Just another 11 months to go and lets hope we are all ready for next year.....

Being Happy....

...Means whatever you want it to

So not my normal sort of post but hey whats normal?

Anyhoo I went down the journal route for this one, I just fancied something a bit different and perhaps it's not everyone's cup of tea but isn't that the point of what we do?  Individual? Each to their own kind of stuff?

So I used some of The Village stamps with an array of the Inkables templates coupled with what has to be one of my favourite Wordage stamps.

So first I got some colour down and then couldn't decide which template to use so pretty much went wild with the chain link, the honeycomb and the one with the bunting that will be with us soon!!!

I didn't want the uniform chain link fencing so literally wafted my distress inkpad all over it and splatted it onto the page and kept going until I had what I thought looked like an OK background.  Inked through the honeycombe and bunting and then set about stamping some houses...

I decided that the houses needed paths so just doodled these onto some lightweight cardstock and attached them to the houses once I had coloured them in using promarkers

Like I said one of my favourite Wordage stamps - Being Happy in the large version, stamped it out in black memento ink onto some lightweight cardstock and chopped it up a bit so that I could spread it over the page.  I think it covers what I was saying earlier quite well in terms of - perhaps my perfection and yours are different - which is why I love that stamp!

Once I had cot my houses stuck down I used the birds and wire stamp from the village collection and doodled the joining and extra bits in to fit - have to say having them as a guide was awesome though and a great way to use the stamp.

So hope you like it - I had great fun with this one!
