To begin, I tore the top right corner and bottom left corner off of a piece of the A4 Full Colour Catalyst Card from set 4, then glued it to the page in my 8 x 8 journal.
I sprayed the page with distress oxide spray in peeled paint, broken china and twisted citron. I then spritzed this with water to encourage mixing. After a few minutes I used kitchen roll to mop up excess water, then left this to dry.
When the background was dry, I stamped the rounded leaf, from Journaling Essentials 7, several times in the corners with no background paper using Avocado Versafine Clair ink. I also added some of the crosses from the same stamp set using Bali Blue Versafine Clair ink.
Next I added some of the dots from Journaling Essentials 9 using Shady Lane Versafine Clair ink.
To finish the background I added some of the grid stamp from Journaling Essentials 9 using Bali Blue ink.
I added the male face from the Faces 3 Transparency Prints after I had coloured his eyes with a white and blue posca pen. I used clear matte medium to adhere him to the page.
Finally I added a cut down Wordy Sticker sentiment from set 2.
