Alison CT - Journaling Essentials Inspiration

Hi everyone, today I'm sharing some inspiration for Sally's challenge using the Journaling Essentials stamp sets.  I have used them to create both the background and as focal point on this set of ATCs.

To begin, I cut three pieces of black card to ATC size.

Then I cut out three of the panels from the cover sheet from the A4 Catalyst Card set 3. I trimmed these so when glued to the black cardvit would leave a small border.

Because each background was different, I wanted to tie them together by adding some stamping.
I stamped the crosses, from Journaling Essentials 2, using picked raspberry distress oxide, the grid, from Journaling Essentials 9, using faded jeans distress oxide and the circles, from Journaling Essentials 2, using mustard seed distress ink. I also added some small cogs, from the Clocks: Wasted Time to the pink background using villianous potion distress ink.
On separate card,  I stamped the leaves from Journaling Essentials 2 and the flower from Journaling Essentials 9. I cut these out.

I glued the flowers and leaves to the ATCs, each one in a different arrangement.
Finally I stamped one of the sentiments from the Small Words set on each ATC.
Products used:
Black and White card

Thank you for taking a look.  I hope I've inspired you to have a good at the challenge.

Alison
