Alison CT - Two Inks, Three Products and Four Pens.

Hi everyone,  I feel that sometimes as a member of a creative team, I forget that everyone else does not always have the same amount of products as I do. So today I'm sharing a step by step guide to creating this art journal page using just a few Bee Crafty products and some inks and pens.

To begin, I cut a piece of the catalyst collage paper to fit my A5 journal. I then glued it down using matte medium. I also blended black soot distress oxide around the edges. 

Next, I decided which way I wanted to place the transparency print and coloured the eyes and lips with posca pens. I left this to dry.

I used matte medium to adhere it over the catalyst collage paper.  I trimmed the excess off. I then used a brush to apply a thin layer of matte medium over the transparency print to minimise glare.

Next, I drew a faux black stitched border around the page using a black posca pen.

I stamped the sentiment using Versafine Clair nocturne ink on grey, rather than white, card and added a stitched border, then edged with black soot distress oxide. I glued this to the page.
