Calee DT - Inkables inspiration

Hi , this week for my step by step guide I have some inspiration for Sally’s challenge  , to use Inkables . For this journal page I have combined them with the Cone Flowers catalyst collage papers.

For my colours I chose the  Bee crafty colour palette week 20 . So my first step was to collect together some ink pads and Ecoline pens .

Next I created my background using Picked Raspberry , Cracked Pistachio and Mermaid Lagoon distress inks  . These were sponged all over my page and then some ink removed with a couple of sprays of water and a few larger drops .

Then I used two Inkables and two more inks ,Mustard Seed and Rustic Wilderness to add more layers to my page .

To introduce some white back into my page I then used a third Inkable with some white texture paste creating  3 clusters of circles .

The focal images for this page were taken from the Cone Flowers catalyst collage papers A5 size. Choosing a paper with large flowers I cut them out and added some white highlights and dots with a white gel pen. At this stage I also added some white dots to my background ,drawing my design together and framing it with a white stitched border.

Taking inspiration from the colours and design of the catalyst collage paper  and using some paint pens , a few random circle were added .My finale step was to add a sentiment, for this I used the Wordy sticker 3B,giving each one a white gel pen border .

Thank you for taking a look at my page . I hope it may have given you little inspiration for using Inkables .please remember to share any makes using inkables and of course enter this month’s challenge.
 Happy crafting
Calee
