Sally DT - Bold Background

Hi there! Here is a card that I made recently. I've been using my Dylusions sprays to create some lovely vivid backgrounds.
I started off spraying Cherry Pie, Calypso Teal and Lemon Zest onto a piece of card.
When this was dry I placed the mandala 4 stencil over it and used the White linen dylusion spray over the top.
Next I stamped Jane's 'Just Bloom' flowers and leaves onto a piece of text. If you don't want to use an old book page there are plenty of pages to download from the internet. This one was going in the recycling bin as it was falling apart.
The Time sentiment was stamped in versamark and embossed with fine detail white embossing powder, before matting and layering onto a card.
I cut out the flowers and leaves, layering the petals on the flower with a little 3d glue and attaching over the left side of the background, around the edge of the stencilled mandala.
Here is another look at the finished card.
Thanks for looking!

Thanks for showing how you did the background with the stencil over the top. The finished look is very delicate on the base. Hugs Mrs A.

Such a pretty look Sally and love the soft outline of the medallion stencilled on the bright and beautiful background, and the flowers and leaves are perfect cut from the old book page, and the lighter colour makes it stand out brilliantly. x
