Alison CT - Rainbow leaves

Hi everyone, today I'm sharing a step by step guide to creating this rainbow leaves card.

To begin I stamped the pointed leaf, from the Journaling Essentials 2 stamp set, six times, each one in a different colour from the rainbow. I used archival inks, but any inks in rainbow colours will work. I then fussy cut them out.

Next, I stamped the sentiment, from the Everyday Sentiments 1 stamp set, on to a piece of card using versafine clair nocturne ink. When dry, I trimmed this to create a rectangle.

Cut a piece of card a quarter of an inch smaller than a 4 x 6 card blank. Using foam pads adhere the sentiment centrally about one third of the way down the card.

Using a glue of your choice, glue the leaves around the sentiment. Cut off any parts that overhang the card.

Mount this piece on to the card blank using foam pads.
