Alison CT - Silver and Blue Christmas

Hi everyone today I'm sharing a step by step guide to creating this Christmas card using the XL Poinsettia stamp set.
To begin, I stamped the two smallest poinsettia flowers, from the regular stamp set, several times using embossing ink. I sprinkled this with silver embossing powder and heat set. I then blended peacock feathers distress oxide over the background.
Next I spritzer this with peacock feathers distress spritzer and left to dry.
Whilst this was drying, I stamped the large poinsettia, from the XL stamp set and heat embossed with silver.
I coloured the poinsettia flower with two shades of blue. I used peacock feathers and tumbled glass distress watercolour pencils.  I then cut it out. I used a silver glitter pen to colour the centre of the flower.
I used the peacock feathers ink pad to lightly ink around the edges of the background piece.
I glued the background piece to a 6 inch square card blank.
I added the poinsettia using foam pads.
Next, I stamped my chosen sentiment using Versafine Clair morning mist, then cut it out and added it to the card.
To finish the card, I added some silver sequins.
Products used:
Silver Sequins
Embossing ink pad
Peacock Feathers Distress Ink

Thank you for taking a look.
