Calee CT - Baubleicious

Hi ,  well it’s that time of year again and as this months challenge theme is sparkle , then what better to add some sparkle to than baubles.
This weeks step by step then is a trio of baubles .

Choosing a tag as my base I randomly added two green inks - Lucy Clover distress ink and Twisted Citron distress oxide . Then a few splashes of water were added and blotted to remove some ink .

On top of this background and using stamps from the Doodle Art Baubleicious stamp set and two more inks - Tumbled Glass and Mowed Lawn distress ink , layers of stamping were added randomly .

Next on some water colour card , three baubles were stamped and coloured using shimmer pens .

Using a D’inkable from set 15 and some gold stickles gel  I stencilled in three areas .

I then went back to my baubles and on the areas I had coloured blue I added a layer of clear glitter glue to add more sparkle .
Here’s a close up photo of one of my baubles ,on which  hopefully you can see the sparkle a bit clearer .

When the everything had dried I assembled my tag , using some sequin strings in coordinating colours to “hang “ my baubles and a few single sequins here and there .
My tag was finished with a  stitched border and the sentiment from the Doodle Art Baubleicious stamp set , which was stamped 3 times and given a black border .

Thank you for taking a look at my Baubleicious tag and I hope it gives you a little inspiration for adding some sparkle to your makes

Happy crafting
Calee
