Hello , this week I’m back with the moths and peonies . I have a small journal page , just 10cm by 14 as my step by step .
The first step was to use the Peony Print stamp as my back ground , this lovely large stamp is the perfect size for this journal page and crated a full background with just one stamping . I wanted a vintage feel so used Distress ink in Vintage Photo .
Next I stamped out the peonies again , the tape measure stamp from the Stitched Boarders Art stamp set and a couple of the medium moths from the Moths Art stamp set. These were stamped in Versafine Clair Pinecone , a darker brown shade and water coloured with my Ecoline pens .
Using some of the other boarders from the same stamp set, I added a few more elements to my background , using the Versafine Pinecone ink.
Next I cut out all of my stamped elements and layered them on to my page , cutting one of the moths in half and placing the coloured peonies on top of the background in a decoupaged style .
To complete my page I just need a sentiment, and as this page had an autumnal feel I went with the very simple October sticker from the Autumn Wordy stickers in black and added a fine white border with a gel pen .
This was a simple page to create with the Peony Print stamp doing most of the work with a few pops of colour from the extra additions
