Hi everyone, it's Monday which means I'm up on the Bee Crafty blog sharing my latest DT project with you all.
Materials
- White 7"x5" card blank
- Black & white card stock
- Music - Microphone
- Life is good
- Distress Oxides ( Candied Apple, Carved Pumpkin, Mustard Seed, Mowed Lawn, Salty Ocean, Dusty Concord)
- Onyx Black Versafine ink
- White gel pen
- Glue & foam pads
- Cut some black card slightly smaller than the card blank, and some white card slightly smaller again.
- Take an acrylic block (mine was roughly 6"x4" in size) and put some of each Oxide directly on to it, following the colours of the rainbow. Spritz with water and quickly place this ink side down on to the centre of the white piece of card.
- Leave this block in place for a few minutes to let the colours sink in to the card.
- Remove the block and let the card dry.
- Stamp the microphone using Versafine ink. Mat this card to the black card, and glue to the card blank.
- Stamp the sentiment using versafine ink, cut in to 2 sections and mat on to black card. Attach to the card blank using foam pads.
- Add some highlights to the microphone image using the white gel pen.
