Took some time out from a busy week to do some journaling ...
Inkables : Big One, Egg Timers
Stamps: Serendipity
Distress Oxides: Picked Raspberry, Mustard Seed, Salty Ocean.
Archival-Jet Black Ink
Gesso: black & white
Distress Collage Medium
Paint your pages with white or clear gesso... when dry, use a lid or something circular, to draw around approximately 2 1/2 inches (6.5cm) across.. draw 3 circles across your page, using Scribble Sticks..
Dip your finger into water and smudge the circles...
Use the Egg Timer Inkable & Distress Oxides, ink randomly across your page ..
Add some black gesso around the edges.. I used a rounded end brush to create a scolloped edge..
On tissue or plain media paper stamp the Daisy, from the Serendipity set, 3 times. I stamped an extra one “ just in case!” , then dampen around the edges with waterbrush & tear each flower out..
Use Distress Collage Medium to stick each Daisy into a circle & add some fine black circles around the daisies with a Micron Pen, creating a scribbled look...
Use Scribble Sticks around the edges of each circle.. add a hint of colour to each Daisy.. I used Ecoline Brush Pens for the Daisy & a water brush..
Add some doodles to the black boarder.. I used Moonlight Pen in white & some extra doodles with Moonlight Pens ..
I felt it needed a bit more black around the edges & added more ... then used a sentiment from the Dina Wakley Collage Words..
