By DT Ann
This weeks post is a card with a Christmas theme…
Stamps:Snowflake boarder & Yuletide
Texture Disc set 1 & 2
Distress Oxide Ink Iced Spruce & Mowed Lawn
White Gesso
Ranger Stickles Gel Moondust
Vellum
Watercolour Paper
Cut a piece of watercolour card into a 17cm square. Next spread some Iced Spruce Distress Oxide Ink across a 210cm x 160cm Super Skinny Slim Acrylic Block, spritz with water & move the ink from side to side (bottom right picture) …
Press watercolour card on to block, letting it ‘sit’ for a few moments for the ink to sink into the paper…
Next stamp the snowflake boarder vertically in Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Ink…
Using Iced Spruce Ink colour a separate piece of watercolour paper & dry. Add some white Gesso through the Texture Discs, dry & place cleaned discs back & add some Stickles Glitter Gel through the discs… you can use a heat gun to dry the gel. Once dry cut out each circle either with scissors or a die…
Tear a strip of vellum & stamp the snowflake boarder across it in Hero Arts Unicorn White ink…
Add a few of the small typed words freehand onto your background, in Iced Spruce ink.
Glue one of the dried & cut out circles to your background card…
Place the vellum strip across the circle, glue at the back of the card at each side…
Add the second circle using some foam tape to add height…
Cut some smaller circles of vellum & the Iced Spruce card.. stamp some individual snowflakes onto the vellum in Unicorn White Ink…
Using Vellum & Unicorn White Ink stamp the word Christmas from the Yuletide set & cut out some of the the Iced Spruce card to go behind it, staple together…
Glue the remaining elements to the card & ink the edges in Iced Spruce…
Thanks for stopping by… Ann xxx
