Begin by scribbling the squeezed lemonade distress crayon on to the circle skinny slim. Spritz lightly with water. Apply it to the bottom left of a piece of Talens watercolour card which is 14 x 19 cm, allow about 20 seconds for the paper to absorb the colour. Repeat with the other four colours of distress crayon overlapping the colours slightly. Leave to dry naturally.
Using Versafine Clair nocturne ink stamp Look centrally on to the background. Colour the eyes and lips with gelly roll pens.
Using the thinnest stitched border stamp, with Versafine Clair nocturne, stamp it twice in the top rightand bottom left of the piece.
To stamp the sentiment so that you have part of it at the top and the other part at the bottom, cover the part you don't want with tape and apply the ink.
Remove the tape and stamp. Clean the stamp thoroughly, then repeat with the second part of the sentiment.

Thank you so much for taking a look. Of course the colours used can be substituted for which ever you choose and the technique of applying them can be used for cards and journals alike.
