Hi, I have been having a play with the week 33 pallet colours , there are some beautiful blues this week and as blue is one of my go to colours this palette was calling to me .
I chose my A5 journal and collected together the palette of blues I would use .
Using Distress spray Speckled Egg and Distress Spritz Uncharted Mariner I created a base for my background , a few spritz of water was also added to move the colour around .
Next I went in with 3 distress colours and 3 Inkables , I used Uncharted Mariner , Blueprint Sketch and Mermaid Lagoon with Dinkables from sets 2 and 15 .
Continuing to work on my page I added some stamping using stamps from Journaling Essentials #8 and some doodling with a white gel pen , this was mainly used for dots and faux stitching Then a blue paint pen was used for some hearts and lines .
For the main feature of my page I chose the Doodle Art Daisy. Stamping it out and colouring with a combination of Distress colours and Ecoline water colour pens , highlights were added with a white gel pen.
I finished my page quite simply by glueing down my daisy and adding a little water colour line underneath to give it some grounding. The sentiment used was borrowed from the Doodle Art Daffodil stamp set .
I really enjoyed creating with is colour palette , and love the result you can get with jut a few shades of blue .
