Autumnal Trio by DT Ann

Autumnal Trio

BY DT ANN

There's definitely an autumnal nip in the air, my favourite time of year...

This week I created a trio of ATC's with the Leafy Branch stencil, another favourite of mine, it might give you some inspiration for the AUTUMNAL challenge on the Bee Crafty Stamps Facebook page..

You'll need:

3 x ATC pieces of card (2 1/2" x 3 1/2")

Dinkables Leafy Branch stencil

Stamps : Ticker Tape 2 & La Luna

Distress Oxides : Mowed Lawn, Squeezed Lemonade & Worn Lipstick

Versa Mark

Distress Embossing Glaze: Antique Linen

Posca Pens: Black & White

Washi Tape: Formulas & Graphs

Available at https://www.beecrafty.net/

How To:

First cut some card into ATC's (2 1/2 inches by 3 1/2 Inches), I used mixed media card, any heavy weight cardstock that will take ink should be ok.

Add some colour by putting the ink onto a non stick craft sheet, lightly spritz until the ink beads (pic 2 ) dab ATC into ink (Pic 1). Do this with each colour (pic 3). Don't forget to mop up the excess on a spare piece of card, you'll need this for your sentiment.

When dry, place Leafy Branch stencil over each ATC & press Versa Mark firmly through aperture (pic 4) .. sprinkle with Distress Glaze, remove excess, heat & cool (pic 5).
NOTE: The Glaze is transparent & the result gives a softer tone to the image, clear embossing doesn't add any tone.

Add some torn pieces of washi tape... randomly on the ATC's (pic 6)

Next ink a few random leaves around your main enbossed "leaf" through your cleaned stencil, this time using the Squeezed Lemonade & Worn Lipstick & again emboss with Distress Glaze, don't worry if it's not perfect as it's just part of the background (pic 7)

Add some details with the "hanging" Stamp from La LUNA and with your black Posca outline the first Leafy Branch  & add some of dots/dashes/doodles around the edges  (pic8). Use a white Posca?pen to add some hi-lights.

Finally stamp the sentiment onto the "mop up" card, cut out & adhere to your ATC's. Some close ups for you...
