Caz DT - Heat embossed MDF note book page

PRODUCTS USED:

Mixed media embossing powders
White fine detail embossing powder
Clear embossing powder
Versafine onyx black ink
Archival inks
Pinflair dimensional glue
MDF notebook page. (Any shape will suffice)

HOW TO MAKE:

This project is perfect for using up the background pages we all have left over from being over keen with the gel plates and ink sprays etc....

I took an inked background and stamped out the butterflies I required in versamark black ink and then clear heat embossed them...also stamped a creativity word onto black card and heat embossed in white...

Then using the fab new dies I cut them all out...

Next is the background on the MDF, an easy way to cover a surface is using embossing powder... It gives great texture and you can layer and stamp into it as you will see...

I ink mine up in stages and build up the texture...I used two different colours of embossing powder - stone age and industrial revolution...

I like the grunge effect as it's right up my street!

Now to add stamped elements to the background first with the borders set...

Then with the textured circles... All stamped with archival ink, then given a bit of a blast with the heat gun to the ink melts into the heat embossing this way you don't get any smudging!

That is your project almost done, just add the die cut butterflies and creative words sentiment on using Pinflair dimensional glue and you're done.
