Collect together items to create a collafe background. I used gelli print pieces; a piece from a book page; a piece of music manuscript; a page from a technical drawing manual; part of a doily and corrugated card from some packaging.
Using collage medium, glue your pieces to the page. I chose to use one of the canvas pages in my Dina Wakely media journal. Leave this to dry, then trim any excess that overlaps the page.
Apply white gesso to knock back the joins and different colours. I used my finger to apply it, but you can use a dry brush.
Add pumice stone distress crayon where the torn edges of the pieces meet and blend using your finger.
Using the arrows inkable tag, with distress crackle paste, add another layer to parts of the background. When this is dry, use the numbers tag, with gathered twigs distress oxide, to add another layer.
Use the perspective circles inkable, with ground espresso distress oxide, add dots to the page. On a piece of watercolour card, stamp the large Dandedaisy twice, one whole one and one fliwer head, using Versafine Clair pinecone ink. Colour with ecoline pens. Cut bith out and on the head one, cut down between the petals
