Charlee DT - Abstract Art Samples

Morning crafters. Hope your all well and ready to tune in to see our amazing Bev on hochanda today at 11am and 3pm. Today I'll be sharing my samples for today's shows and hope you enjoy.

For this one I used distress oxides. I placed them on my blending matt, spritzed with water and dragged my card through. I did each colour at a time to get the rainbow effect.

This is done with Dylusions paint, and the paint through the dinkables as well. I stamped in archival.

This one is the caught in crystal technique. I stamped and heat embossed the image onto heat resistant acetate. Then on the reverse side I poured a bit of pledge floor polish. I scibbled some sparkle pens onto my craft matt and picked them up with a paint brush and splodge them onto the acetate. Once covered I took a 1ply tissue and placed it on top. And used some more floor polish to secure it in place. And then left it to dry over night. Have a look on youtube for the caught in crystal technique which will explain it better than what I have.

This was done with dylusions paint. And stamped in archival.

For this one I stamped the image in the position I wanted. I then stamped onto some paper and cut out at mask. I then stamped the texture boarder and circle in distress oxides and used the splatter dinkable.

For this one I drew bubbles onto black card. Bev has demanded I do a video on how to do this so when I'm not busy at work and full of cold I will get a video made. So keep an eye out. I used the edge of the fly away stamp for the bottom of the sentiment and just the little person flying away.

I stamped the image in memento onto kraft card and then using a stencil brush I used wilted violet and carved pumpkin, to build up the background. I then stamped the circles and boarders in the same colours.

The background was done by taking the circle dinkable and going through with microglaze. I left to dry for about half hour. I then put oxides on my blending matt and picked it up with card. I then stamped the circle and boarders in archival. The main image I used glossy paper and picked up loads of different layers of oxides. Once I was happy and it was dry I went over with micro glaze.

That's all from me I hope you manage to catch Bev and get hold of these amazing stamps.

Until next week
