   Small Words Winter

Inkables : 6x6 Snowflake Mask

Gelli plate, brayer, 6x6 card blank, silver card, white card, red & white bakers twine, Vellum & sequins.

Brayer some Broken China on to a Gelli plate, put the Snowflake Mask gently onto the plate. Next place a piece of paper over this, press firmly but carefully with the flat of your hand... peel back to reveal your print.

The picture below shows;

1.The first print.

2. Remove the Snowflake mask , spritz with water & place on another piece of paper.

3.Brayer another layer of ink onto Gelli plate & take a print.

4. The Inkable

I chose to use my first print as my background. Cut your background to 13.5cm x 13.5cm.

If you don’t have a Gelli plate, ink through the mask with Broken China Distress Oxide.

Next cut a piece of card 5cm x 13.5cm, stamp the words freehand across this strip..

 ..add some snowflakes using Festive Berries & Broken China.

Use a silver ink (I used a Brilliance Ink) to add a few small snowflakes from the Winter Words.

Mat the background & strip with some silver card.

Wrap Bakers twine around the strip length wise. Using the small tag die cut a piece of vellum & stamp warm wishes on (again I used Brilliance ink) attach to the twine with some red thread. I embossed a Pop Out snowflakes with silver embossing powder & added that too.

To finish add a few sequins..

Thank you for stopping by ... Ann x
