Alison CT - Jubilee Crown

Hello everyone to create this card  begin by stamping the two smallest butterflies and the dragonfly from the Regular Birds and Butterflies stamp set, then colour them using Ecoline pens and die cut out.

Next add some highlights to them using a Gelli Roll Glaze pen.

Using a piece of card that is 5 x 7 inches create a background by blending Salvaged Patina and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide ink. Use Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide around the edges. Don't overload the blending tool with ink to achieve  a subtle effect.

Using either a stencil or die cut circles in three sizes draw round them as in the photo.
Use the single feather and honeycomb dinkables from set 1 to add more detail to the background, being careful not to go into the circles.

Use the text from the bottom of the Vitruvian Man stamp to add background in the circles and parts of the Heraldic Banner stamp to add detail around the circles using Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide for this.

Stamp the Heraldic Crown across the circles using Versafine Clair Nocturn.

Tie a piece of ribbon around the bottom third of the background piece and mat and layer onto an 8 x 6 card blank. Glue the butterflues and dragonfly in position and stamp the word LIFE from the Life Words 1 stamp set to finish the card.
