Alison CT - Hot Colours Inspiration

Hi everyone, today I thought I would share some inspiration for the group challenge.

Begin by blending picked raspberry and spiced marmalade distress oxides, with mustard seed distress ink, over a Dylusions size 10 tag. Then spray water on to your fingers and shake over the tag. Blot dry. Then leave it to dry naturally.
Blend festive berries distress ink through the bakewell big one. Leave to dry.
Add distress crackle paste through the fernando big one. Leave to dry naturally. This allows the texture paste to absorb some of the ink colours from below it.

Whilst this is drying, on a piece of cream card,  stamp the sparrow from the XL birds and butterflies stamp set, with the pinecone ink pad, and die cut out. Also stamp three flowers from the doodle dragonfly set, colour and cut out. I used Ecoline pens to colour the images.

Ink around the edges with the festive berries ink.

Using worker stamps from the Doodle Art Dragonfly with Versafine Clair pinecone ink, add more interest to the background.
Stamp the sentiment with pinecone ink and cut out.
Mount the tag onto brown card, this just stabilises it. Tie a piece of red knitted lace in a bow and use glue gel to stick it over the tag hole. Add the sentiment.

Add the bird and fliwers using foam pads or glue gel.
