Alison CT - Journal page using Ephemera Stickers, Stamps and Papers

Hi everyone, today I thought I would share how I created this journal page using a mixture of papers, ephemera stickers and stamps.

Begin by spritzing blackberry gloss spray onto a craft card page in the Dina Wakely Media journal. Add spats of gloss white, then spritz the lime gloss onto the page. Leave to dry.

On cream card stamp the ledger and the tape measure using distress ink black soot. Lightly blend vintage photo distress ink over the images, then cut out.

Using the vintage photo distress ink stamp the largest double coffee stain on the background three times, then the small double one five times.

Tear a piece of music manuscript to the desired size. Ink the edges with the vintage photo ink.  Adhere to the page with distress collage medium. This will allow time to tuck other elements under this piece if desired.
Tear the stamped ledger piece in two. Tear the other edges. Ink the edges with vintage photo. Glue one piece to the page.

Tear the tape measure piece approximately in half. Glue to the page.

Use collage medium to add a piece of lace to the page.

Add the second piece of the ledger stamp to the bottom left, tucking it behind the tape measure.

Add two pices of a page from an old book. Tuck one under the music near the top right and put the other over the lace, bottom left. Either leave to dry naturally or dry with a heat gun, but be careful not to  burn the lace.

Choose the ephemera stickers. Remove the backing and stick to the page. Using versafine clair pinecone ink stamp the three numbers.

Stamp the swallow, using Versafine Clair pinecone,  from the XL Birds and Butterflies stamp set onto a page from the old book and die cut out. Add a little colour using pencil crayons, then glue to the page. Stamp a sentiment onto the sticker and heat set.
