Three Quick Cards
By DT Ann
I’m sharing three similar ways to create backgrounds using the Mirror Blocks .. you can use any colours, I chose to do blues. I finished the cards with stamps & stencils from…https://www.beecrafty.net/
To create the backgrounds I used:
Distress Oxides: Faded Jeans & Broken China
Brayer
3 pieces of card approximately 9cm x 13cm
Water bottle with fine spray
Place the large oblong Mirror Block onto a stamping block or slim to hold it in place.
Roll your brayer over an ink pad, I chose Broken China. Keep moving the brayer backwards & forwards to ensure coverage of the roller all the way around, this prevents lines. Then spread the ink over half of the Mirror Block, again going back & forth to give an even coverage. Roll off any excess on to a spare piece of paper.
Repeat the process, this time I used Faded Jeans, on the other half slightly overlapping the colours.
Take one of the pieces of card & place on to the inked block, press but not too firmly , I gently rolled over the top with the brayer. Pull back the card to reveal your print….
Card 1: Sail Boat
Card 2: Paint Brushes

Stamp various stars from the Stars Textures set, use clear & silver embossing powders to add texture. Stamp a sentiment from the Small Words set…
