The challenge over on the Bee Crafty Stamps Facebook Group this month is something black & white with a splash of colour, thought I’d create something that may inspire you to enter…

Start by painting the Artboard with black Gesso, remember to mask the bit that slots into the base with a bit of washi tape first. … 

When dry, stamp the Ledger Measure ( I used the  2 clocks as a focal point) in Versamark. Cover in white embossing powder, shake off the excess & melt with heat gun… 

Repeat the process on black card concentrating on the ‘clocks’. Once dry cut out the clocks… 

On a piece of white card stamp a butterfly in Versafine Clair Nocturne & emboss in clear powder. Die cut the stamped butterfly & a few book pages.. 

Colour the butterfly with some Calypso Teal shimmer paint, dilute & colour wash the book pages. Add some splatters to the Artboard background… 

Stamp a sentiment onto black card & emboss in white.. 

Finally glue the butterfly & book pages together down the centre.. 

Add the clocks with some foam pads to add dimension, glue the butterfly & sentiment on too..
