I started by placing
the Easy Frame stencil and spraying the shimmer spray through the inside of the
circle. I made sure that I protected the surrounding edge of the page to make
sure I had no splatters anywhere else on my page
I also squished the
distress ink onto a clear Skinny Slim block and gently spritzed it with a few
drops of water and stamped it onto the edge of the circles to give the water splat
effect. I dried the page to heat set the inks before going any further.
Without using a block I
gently inked random places on the Ledger stamp with Picked Raspberry Distress
ink and stamped around the circles. I also stamped a few with Spun Sugar
Distress ink as well. I then used the Coffee Stain stamps and Hickory Smoke
Distress ink to add some more detail.
Using the Hero Art
White ink pad I stamped some of the bubbles from the Octopod stamp in the
centres of the circles. I then added a few around the page using Picked
Raspberry Distress ink.
I then took the circles
from the Journal Art Element set 2 Stamp and stamped some onto the page using Black
Archival ink. I have also taken the small cluster of stars from the Moons and Stars Texture stamp and stamped in the centre of the coffee stain circles. I also used the small star from the Stitch Border stamps (I have
cut mine apart so I can use them individually) to add even more detail on the
page.
Next, I stamped the Dragonfly
Art stamp onto some Dina Wakley Collage paper and carefully cut around the edge
once thoroughly dry. Adhere this onto your page using gel medium.
I then stamped the Dragonfly stamp onto some spare card and die cut it using the matching die and coloured it using Ecoline pens. Stick this directly over the image from the Ledger Measure stamp. I only stuck the body down as I wanted to see some movement in the wings. Stamp the words of your choice from the Ticker Tape word set 2, separate them and stick into the centre of the circle on the right. Finally, once everything is thoroughly dry add the obligatory white pen to highlight certain details.
Thank you for looking
at the blog again this week. Hope you all have a good rest of your week.
