Charlee DT - Simple oxide background

Morning crafters. My turn for the blog this week. Today I'm doing this quick and easy card, perfect for them last minute cards you've forgotten to do.

What you'll need:

Step 1:

Cut your card down to size. Staring with broken china blend in random places on the card trying not to get harsh lines. Repeat with Cracked Pistachio and then Faded Jeans until you're happy with the finished look. Sprinkle some water droplets over the top and then blot.

Step 2:

Once dry take the splatter dinkable and blend through some black soot using different pressure to get different shades. I went over a couple of the dots with a black pen to bring them out even more.

Step 3:

Use and antistatic bag and then stamp the peony with versamark. Pour on the white embossing powder then heat set. Then ink up your sentiment with black ink and stamp in the position you want. Then just matt with with blue glitter card and adhere to your card blank.

Quick and easy. Hope this gives you plenty of inspiration.

Until next week
