Alison CT - ATC Inspiration

Hi everyone. Today I thought I would share some inspiration for the ATC swap.

Take three pieces of card that are two and a half by three and a half inches. Add strips of washi tape on each. Use collage medium to secure it firmly to the card. Leave to dry.

Using the Mandala Inkable and wild honey distress oxide begin to create a background.

Using stamps from the Stitched Border set add to the background using weathered wood distress oxide. As you are stamping on washi, which is less porous you will need to either leave yhis to dry or heat set.

Use Versafine Cheerful and the bubble mandala stamp add more texture to the background. Leave to dry.

Using Versafine Clair morning mist, stamp a butterfly, dragonfly and lady bird on another piece of card. Colour using inktense pencils and a waterbrush. Cut out the main body.

Stamp part of each insect onto one of the ATCs. This will mean you will see the legs and antennae of each insect, without having to fussy cut them out. Using worker stamps from the insect stamp sets and Versafine Clair summertime, add more depth to the background. Don't worry if these overlap the insects.

On another piece of card stamp your chosen sentiments. Cut them out and edge with Versafine Clair Summertime.

Glue the insects directly over the stamped images. Add your sentiments to your ATCs. Cut off any parts of the insects that overhang the edges.
