Ali Carubia CT - Moonlit Skyline

This is my first make for the Bee Crafty Creative Team - very excited 🌞This month's challenge is to create with Inkables so I've chosen one of the beautiful Skylines to play with.

Take an A4 piece of white card, score & fold at 99mm, cut at 198mm making a DL card blank and an extra piece for inking.

Trim about 1cm off the top and side of the extra piece.
Lightly spritz the back with water so it stays flat, and then the front.
Pick 3 colours of paint powders, I used Cosmic Shimmer Pixie Powders in Purple Violet, Midnight Blue and Aubergine.

Tap the powders over the card with purple at the top, blue in the middle and aubergine at the base.

Spritz water to activate the paints.
Use paper tissue to soak up any puddles and a paint brush to wet any dry clumps.

Dry with a heat gun. Roll the card with fingers to flatten it back into shape.

Tape the Inkables Skyline (Skylines 2) over the base of the card.

Tip - make low tack masking tape less sticky by sticking it onto clothes before sticking on card.

Pick up some black texture paste on the back of a spatula and spread it over the stencil.

Remove the stencil and allow to dry naturally.
Trim a little off the sides to neaten up.

Pencil a circle in the top left - pots of glitter are useful to draw around.
Faux bleach the moon using water and a paint brush.
Dry with a heat gun.

Paint in the moon with silver or white.
Dry again and rub out the pencil marks with an eraser.

Apply black Ink around the edges to add a vignette
Matt onto black card and fix it to the white DL card blank.

Add highlights to the moon and skyline using a white gel pen.

Stamp and white heat emboss a sentiment onto black card. (Creativity Words).

Fix these to the top left with foam pads.
Add a few stars.

Admire your finished card.

Hope you have enjoyed this and thank you for stopping by,
Ali xxx
