Ali CT - One Day at a Time

I had a glorious inky afternoon playing with the Bee Crafty Journaling Girl stamps.
And here is what I did...

Cut a piece of 300gsm white card 6 1/4" square, spritz a little water on the back and then the front,  then lay it on top of a piece of kitchen paper.

Take 3 colours of pigment paint powder, I used Cosmic Shimmer Sun Yellow, Golden Mint and Peacock Green. Tap each one in turn over at least 3 sections of the card.

Spritz the card again to activate the paint - they will explode into life with the water.

Dab off any excess puddles with a bit of kitchen roll and dry with a heat gun. Use a damp paint brush to activate any dry powder. Heat the back of the card to assist drying. Roll the card  to flatten it out.

When the card is absolutely dry, pat an anti static pad over it. Stamp the open sprig from Borders #1 in black versafine ink twice at different levels in the bottom right, then heat emboss with black embossing powder. Repeat in the top left corner. Use a versamark pen to fill in the leaves and heat emboss with black powder as before.

Stamp the wavy heart line border at different heights next to the black sprigs using white pigment ink or versafine 3 times at the top of the card (this pic shows 2 but I added another one later) and twice at the bottom. Heat emboss with white embossing powder.
Stamp the heart stamp from the Journaling Girls - Sam set at the end of the white heart lines and white heat emboss.

Stamp the solid dot chain from the Sam set a few times at the top right of the card and heat emboss in black. Overlap your stamping to make the chains longer. Stamp the 2 grasses a few times at the bottom left, going off the page on a few and heat emboss with black embossing powder.

Stamp the little round flower head across the middle of the card and off the side of the card in a few places, heat emboss in white.

Pat an anti static pad over a scrap white card. Stamp Sam, the large flower 3 times and the One Day at a time sentiment using black versafine ink, then heat emboss with black embossing powder. I also stamped the sentiment onto black card in case it looked better.

Fussy cut these with scissors.

Ink around the edge of the coloured panel with black ink. Fix onto a larger piece of black card with a border of approx 1/8" and then onto a 7" square white card blank.

Attach the cut outs onto the card using double sided foam. Doodle around the edge of the card and fill in the grasses with a black finer liner pen,  add glossy accents to the white hearts and the little hearts on the stems.
Leave to dry for at least 20 minutes then admire your card 😎
