See Me Artboard
By DT Ann
Haven’t done any MDF for a while and felt the need to use my last Artboard & create a mixed media piece…
Stamps: See Me
Inkables : Big One, Abstract 1
Dylusions Paint : London Blue & Fresh Lime
Ranger Embossing Powders: white
Ranger Embossing Glaze: Salvaged Patina
Watercolour Pencils
Versamark
Gesso
Start by masking the bit that slots into the base with some washi or masking tape. Then gesso the Artboard…
Once dry spread some texture paste through the Abstract 1 Inkable…
When paste is dry add some colour with Dylusions paints I used London Blue & Fresh Lime, merging them to create different tones…
Stamp the large image from See Me in Hero Arts ink on to collage paper, soften the edges around the image with water & tear out carefully…
Glue to Artboard with Distress Collage Medium
Arrange some Popouts & MDF Bubbles across the Artboard & glue them on …
Gently tap Versamark ink across the top of the Popouts & Bubbles.. add some white embossing powder & melt. Then add some more Versamark ink, sprinkle Salvaged Patina Embossing Gaze over, heat until melted…
I didn’t mind that some of the embossing powders stuck to the surrounding area.
Add some colour to the See Me face using watercolour pens & some doodles to the background with Gelly Roll Pens…
Stamp See Me with Hero Arts Black ink on to a flat piece on the background..
Remove washi/masking tape & push Artboard into its base, gesso, dry & paint in same colours… add some Bubbles to continue the theme, again using embossing powder& glaze..
All done!!
Thank you for stopping by… Ann xxx
